The Easter Bunny came to our house.

Bunny is an Easter Egger chicken and we named her Bunny because, like the Easter Bunny, she was going to give us colored eggs.  She didn't disappoint.
Here is her first egg (green) with Ginger's (darker brown) and Sunflower's (light brown).

I love how distinctive the eggs for each chicken are.  They are their own color and shape, but consistent for each bird.  I can tell by looking at them who laid that day.

Oh, I know who you are! I'm glad to see you have chickens too. We got our coop finished yesterday and heaved a great sigh of relief. Our chickens laid for the first time 3 days ago and we can't wait for our chickens to lay the blue and green eggs as we have 3 that are supposed to! 7 kids huh?! Great woman!
